As a counselor, I approach therapy from a unique perspective. Incorporating my skills as a life coach, inspirational speaker and psychotherapy, each session remains fresh and organic. I have a deep commitment to my client’s process and well-being, approaching them with compassionate understanding. My process of therapy creates a container of appreciation, incorporating an energy for change, as well as including practical steps for finding a new direction in your life. My approach will support you in clearing blocks, help you end cycles of self-defeating behavior and bring you to a deeper level of self-understanding. From my side of things, the intention of the work we do together is to help you get more out of life.
My philosophy of therapy is deeply grounded in the belief that we each possess a unique inner wisdom that can lead us to healing. I feel deep empathy and respect for those beginning this process. I believe in the healing power of laughter, as well, and feel humor can be used as a counterbalance to the inherent intensity of the therapeutic process.
In addition, my work with clients incorporates an integration of Spirit and believe that every situation—and every life—can be upgraded.

The good news is, you don’t have to go it alone. Working together, we can tackle your issues and develop strategies to help you lead a richer, more fulfilling life.
Whether you’re wrestling with addiction, managing your recovery, dealing with trauma, trying to figure out how to better your relationship, managing anger, or in the throes of grief, I can both meet you where you are and walk with you. I won’t pretend to know what you’re feeling. On the other hand, I won’t hesitate to say I understand what you’re going through, because more than 14 years of personal and professional experience have brought me to where I am.
No one can tell you what to do or how to do it. You have to figure that out for yourself. My role in your healing is to help guide you on your journey, supporting you in developing a different perspective, thinking about things differently and, ultimately, making more productive choices. Finding your way isn’t going to be comfortable; change rarely is. Authentically embracing change, on the other hand, can make the difference for you between flourishing and simply surviving.
My own experience allows me to be empathetic to my clients’ situation, while at the same time direct in the work we do together. Part of this involves looking at your whole picture—mind, body and spirit—addressing not just your vulnerabilities and the places you’re stuck, but also your strengths and learning how to use them to best advantage. You not only hold the key to healing yourself, but you are your own best resource for revealing the source of your strength.
